Center for Analysis and Synthesis of Motion
This new center was established in 1994 to support research in the field of biocybernetics and biomechanics. The available equipment is:
- ELITE motion analysing system consisting of 4 CCD 100Hz cameras using passive infrared markers attached to the measured body. The system can measure motion, 16 channels EMG and ground reaction forces simultaneously. The advantage of the optical system for motion detection is that except reflective markers no measuring equipment, which would encumber the movement, is attached to the measured subject.
- Ground reaction forces measurement platform C.E.R.A.V.A.L.
- Picture acquisition and processing system OCULUS
- Lung capacity measurement system MORGAN
